Episode 298: Spider-Man Brand New Day, Marvel’s Comeback, and the Day One Fan Debate

In this episode, Nathan and Tim break down Spider-Man: Brand New Day after both unexpectedly finding themselves in completely packed theaters on opening weekend. Tim comes away thinking the movie was pretty mid, while Nathan makes the case that it might actually be the best Tom Holland Spider-Man movie yet.

The two debate whether the movie’s villain actually earned her redemption arc, whether MJ’s relationship with Peter makes any sense after the events of No Way Home, and why Marvel is at its best when it stops trying to make every story a universe-ending event.
